  • No. Our clients purchase any alcohol to be served and we oversee a safe bar for your event. TapTruckNC can help you plan what beverages to serve as well as how much your group may need for your particular event.

  • If you've got an event, we want to hear about it! We offer our services to any and all events including:

    • Weddings

    • Birthdays

    • Bachelor/Bachelorette parties

    • Sports event

    • Trade shows

    • Festivals

    • Corporate events

    • And many more!

  • We do not rent our trucks for self-service. Let us serve you and your guests!

  • Our standard offering is a plastic 12 oz cup. If you'd like a specific serving cup, just let us know and we'll be happy to accommodate. We can either purchase the preferred cups (additional fees may be incurred) or you're welcome to provide us with anything you'd like us to use for serving.

  • We make every effort to accommodate requests, but trucks are reserved on a first come, first serve basis. Some of our trucks are better suited for certain events due to size and location, so we'll discuss this with you.

  • Absolutely! If you have certain design elements you'd like to include on the truck, around the truck, or on/near the bar - if you supply it, we'll display it!

    WHERE/WHEN    

  • Our Tap Trucks are based out of Raleigh NC. We don't necessarily have a distance we won't travel. All of our base package quotes provided do include travel up to 100 miles from this location. Do note that any locations over 100 miles away will incur additional travel fees.

  • The earlier the better! The more time we have for planning, the more prepared all parties are as the event approaches.

  • You better believe it! As long as we have trailer access for drop-off (if necessary), and driving room to access the area you'd like the Tap Truck parked, we're happy to participate in an indoor event!

  • Our standard practice is to leave our Tap Truck in place once it's driven into the spot preferred for your event.

       TECHNICAL       

  • We carry general and liquor liability insurance, and can provide a certificate of insurance for your venue if necessary. We do always ask our clients to check with their venue prior to the event to see if they require any special insurance riders or permits for that particular location.

    *It is the host's responsibility to obtain any event permits from the applicable alcohol licensing board. Please be aware that there are different laws for beer/wine and liquor.

  • Upon review of any proposal we send to a prospective client, we're always happy to provide a phone or video call to discuss all charges shown. Once the client is satisfied with the proposal, we then send our contract for review and signature. Once signed, we require 25% of the service cost upfront to hold the event date. From there, the additional 75% is billed approximately four weeks from the date of the event.

  • You'll find that costs will vary based on a number of factors, but we include:

    • One of our classic Tap Trucks and certified Beertenders to host your event

    • Tap Truck transportation from our location to your event and back

    • Liquor and general liability insurance while we host your event

    • Custom bar setup for serving

    • Paper goods such as plastic cups, napkins

    • Sales tax

    • Events over 2.5 hours from our Raleigh NC location may be subject to an overnight surcharge

    • We offer non-alcoholic beverages for an additional cost

  • We accept all major credit/debit cards for payment and we make the payment process easy through our customer event portal. We are unable to accept personal checks at this time.

  • Our trucks are totally self-sufficient, meaning we do not require electricity to keep our beverages ice cold! It's nice to have electricity nearby for additional lighting, but we can use battery operated lighting as needed.
